A few months ago I went to the Getty Museum to photograph Tom Learner, a scientist, for Angeleno Magazine. Tom is the head of contemporary art research. As someone who grew up going to the Getty almost weekly, it was really neat to see behind-the-scenes, and I had a great afternoon shooting and looking at art.

I was asked by Diane Wallace, who I had worked with in the past for Runway Magazine, to submit some photos for the first issue of Litrof Magazine. I submitted a Cinemagraph shoot I did a few months ago (click here for the previous post, including cinemagraphs). I also referred her to Carrie Parry, my friend and clothing designer.

I thought the cinematic nature of this shoot I did last week was a great time to experiment with cinemagraphs (photographs with subtle movement in them). It might take a couple seconds looking at each cinemagraph to see the movement. Please see below to view the final product, and below them for the photos from the shoot!

I always have such a great time shooting with UCLA Magazine, mostly because of how much fun the staff is to work with. This particular job was right up my alley..It was a feature on the fashion at UCLA. The architecture there is amazing and we found a wonderful room to shoot in. One by one, every 15 minutes, students came in to be photographed. It was a long but productive day! Please click the images to enlarge.

I had SUCH an amazing time on this shoot (you can check out the behind the scenes photos from a previous blog entry here! ). What was supposed to be a 6-8 page spread turned into a 12 page spread, plus 2 more photos as a section cover and as a magazine ad, in the back of the issue. You can find the magazine at many Barnes & Nobles, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, newsstands where they sell fashion magazines, and most airports, so look out for it! The cover features Audrina Patridge. You can also find the issue online at there website, Runwaylive.com!

I had an incredibly fun shoot last week- it was a lingerie spread for Runway Magazine. We shot in this incredible location; a mansion about an hour and a half outside Los Angeles. The models and everyone on the crew were amazing and I can’t wait to start retouching the photos today, and for the magazine to come out next month! In the meantime, here are a few behind-the-scenes pics.

Last year I photographed George Pinnachio (and a couple others) for the AMA Award Pre-Show that they host. Here is one of the final photos:

I was asked to photograph two other hosts for this year’s show. I will post pics once I have the final photos. In the meantime, I also had fun the other week taking photos of some ABC anchormen and firefighters for the annual Spark of Love Toy Drive.
